Kind of Easy Trivia

Score: 46
February 13, 2010 1:48 am

Who was the last third baseman to win a rookie of the year?

How many Gold Gloves did Greg Maddux get?

T or F: Prince Fielder became the youngest player to hit 50 homeruns when he hit 50 in 2007.

Just asking for some answers here.  This is all stuff I know the answer to, so after I see a couple comments, I will post what the answer is.  Good Luck!

Last year when Ryan Howard led the league in Home Runs and RBI's, it was only the second time since 1993 when Barry Bonds also did it- Lead the league (either) in HR's and RBI's with less than 50 homers- Who was the other one?

(I remember when the thought of having 50 homers was a rarity!)

One rule: if you look up the answer, you can't post it until at least 24 hours after the question was originally posted. I want to give people who might actually know it a chance to get it correct.

Feel free to create a thread if you want to ask questions pertaining to one sport. This thread is general, meaning questions about any sport are acceptable.

Here are my starter questions, from easiest to hardest:

1. Who is the only person since 1950 to win at least two golf majors who represents the United States to never make a Ryder Cup team?
2. Who was the last switch hitter to win the AL MVP award?
3. What was the last school to be voted the national champion in college football by at least one of the two main polls in a year in which its basketball team did not win at least one game?

Enjoy!
